• Grass, leaves and manure into compost for agriculture, golf courses or landscaping

What's in the News

• Legislation is being proposed to expand composting of materials such as food by products/food processing waste and paper/forest product residuals.  These materials are considered to be easily and safely conpostable.
• The Michigan Department of Agriculture estimates that 10 acres of farmland are lost to development each hour in our state.
